Today’s students are considered digital natives, making Technology integration essential for 21st century skills. Canva and digital game-based learning have both contributed to a more dynamic and appealing classroom.
Canva was utilized to create a vivid and engaging presentation with visual contextualization of topics to support language acquisition and supported applications such as YouTube.
Digital game-based learning targeted students’ vocabulary retention, allowed me to customize content and visuals and offered text to audio features of Latin American accents to add authentic cultural depth while lending itself to the development of linguistic skills such as listening, reading, and writing.
